British artist janice Taylor has lived and worked in Morocco for over fifteen years.Originally based in Tangier, she has now made her home in Marrakesh , creating a charming guest house on the ground floor of her traditional  Kasbah dwelling .

 

Within 3 km of both the airport and the railway station Bab Agnaou leads into the small square in front of the Kasbah Mosque. Just minutes away, Dar Jani enjoys all the local amenities of the Kasbah, where shops and stalls sell everything from Berber hats to fresh baked bead , while there is a small market five minutes walk away that bursts with delicious fresh fruit and vegetables.

 



 

The hub of Marrakeshi life –the famous Djemaa el Fna- is reached by a comfort- able stroll along Rue Bab Agnaou . Passing banks (with ATMs) and Internet cafes en route should these be among your require-ments.

Accommodation

Leading off from the partially-shaded ,tiled courtyard  the accommodation at dar jani is comprised of two double bedrooms both with windows that overlook the dining area of the patio. There is a traditionally furnished bijou salon (complet with not-so- traditional TV) a small kitchen with cooking facilities and refrigerator and a tiled shower-room/WC with constant hot water available throughout.
